Where you’ll find inside scoop, behind the scenes photographs, interviews, or just some random things we’d like to share.
Who would’ve thought a forgotten traditional market can turn into a creative hub? We first heard about this place from Arya and Intan of Substore, a small music shop and one of the early tenants. When we first got there, there are only 2 tenants open for business (the other one is ABCD Coffee) but we can feel the optimism fill the area, that something is going to happen. That night Arya, Intan and Kak Hen (of ABCD Coffee) shares their vision with us for Pasar Santa. Little they know, just months later their vision came true and their beloved traditional market became one of the biggest movement in creative industry we’ve seen in recent years.
Will Pasar Santa can still going strong and make impact to the local industry, or will it burn out because their own hype? Only time can tell, but we surely happy to see many youngsters can still make a change.
