Space Interrupted

Features musicians playing at unusual places. The aim is to offer an alternatives point of view for audiences to enjoy intimate music show apart from conservative TV shows, and also to documenting the local music scene. In each series different musicians will choose one unusual place (not stage or music studio) to perform. QUBtv will film the performance, (and at some moments) the interaction between the artists with unexpected audiences.

Started the band with the same interest in music, Herald Reynaldo (vocal and guitar), Yudhistira Mahendra (bass), Tercitra Winitya (keyboard), Ildo Reynardian (drums), Byatriasa Ega (keyboard), and Purusha Irma (violins) bring the ambient-cum-indie-pop genre to a higher level. After quite some time, L’Alphalpha has finally released their album “When We Awake All Dreams Are Gone” last year –which by the way we dig so much!

For this session, L’Alphalpha came up with such a brilliant idea; they wanted to do the shoot at Bara Futsal in Blok M area. The place that was formerly a famous grocery store –Golden Truly- has an abandoned-building look which makes the place even more interesting. With a full-band members and a bunch of colourful toy musical instruments, L’Alphalpha was showcasing 2 songs from their album; About a Friend and Comet’s Tail. The fun loving personnel of the band make the video shoot seems faster than it really was.
